NTU Wakeboarding Expose is back again!!

We're opened to students from ALL tertiary instituitions!!

It's the beginning of the semester again and we present to you a day fun in the sun
...
We'll head to Punggol Marina Country Club for a professional coaching session from Wakeboard Association (WBA), followed by a Wakeboarding session with an instructor along the straits of Selatar Island.

Not only will you feel the excitement of wakeboarding, you will also get the chance to take picturesque photos of the Kelongs as well as the Straits of Johor along with the setting sun as the backdrop. So, bring along your nicest board shorts, bikinis, sun tan lotion, your camera and join us for a full day of fun.

Venue: Punggol Marina Country Club
(Nearest Station: Punggol)
Time: 1:30pm - 6:00pm, dinner @ 7:30pm
Date: 19th Feb 2011 (Sat)

$70 early bird price

Batam Cable Ski details

Hey guys!

To ensure we board the ferry on time, we will be meeting at:

Venue: Harbourfront Macdonalds
Time: 7.45am
Date: 18 Oct 2010 (Monday)

Below are some essential items to bring for the event:
Recommended Attire:
Bottoms: Board shorts / Shorts(Guys and Gals)
Top: N.A. (Guys), Bikini top/Sports Bra/T-shirt/Singlet (Gals)
Footwear: Sandals/Slippers

House skiing equipments will be provided as part of our package.

Note: If you're bringing your own boards, it is highly recommended that you put them in a board bag or edge protector, as its required to be checked-in under Singapore Cruise Centre regulations for a fee of S$10/bag.

Other stuffs to bring:
Sunblock lotion (important! as we will be under the sun for the whole day)
Suntan lotion (optional)
Sunglasses (optional)
1 set of clean change for after the event
1 or more set of towelsBathing essentials (soap shampoo etc.)
Water
Food/snacks/tidbits

*FINALLY PLEASE DO REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR PASSPORTS AND CASH FOR PAYMENT.
*Payment for Batam cable ski will be S$95 + S$7 (departure tax) (CASH payment only).
Please also note that if you are a foreigner NOT from Brunei, Chile, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Macau, Morocco, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, departure tax will be US$25. Please refer to the Batam Cable Ski website for more details; http://www.cable-ski.com/visarequirements.html
Participants who do not bring their passports will not be allowed on the ferry!
Please also note that the vendor places very strict policy on "no show". In an event of "no show", they will be charging S$40 for the ferry ticket.

The long awaited Recess Week is coming soon.

Not only will we have time for fun and games, we will also have to mug through loads and loads of books, readings and tutorials.

But fear not, for it's the time for fun and games,

Batam Cable Ski will ensure that you would have felt that you have traveled overseas with great friends you will meet. Relax in a resort-like town, soak up the sun, sit on a cool scooter that will fetch you wherever you fall off (Unlike ECP cable ski where you will take 15mins to walk back to the start), have great photo taking opportunities and finally enjoy yourselves enough to get back to your books.

Most of all, not only will you feel satisfied for the entire week, you would also be fully pumped up with energy that will last for the rest of the semester.

Being a member not only entitles you to join our wakeboarding sessions, parties and membership gatherings, but also special student wakeboarding prices (Talk to us to understand more about this special promotion by our sponsors). As the NTU Wakeboard Team is constantly looking out for a number of new riders this year for IVP '11 in June 2011, do train and participate in our weekly ridings for your talent to be spotted. You never know if you will be our next Singapore Wakeboarding Champion.

NTU Wakeboarding Initiation XI

It's the beginning of the semester again. Hence, once again, we present to you Initiation XI; "A day fully packed with activities and wakeboarding, all for the sake of fun and adrenaline."

Starting with a 2pm pick up @ Punggol MRT station.

We'll meet again at Punggol Marina Country Club for a professional coaching session from Wakeboard Association (WBA), followed by a Wakeboarding session with a Wakeboarding Instructor along the straits of Selatar Island.

This year, not only will you feel the excitement of Wakeboarding and Sun Tanning, you will also get the chance to take picturesque photos of the Kelongs as well as the Straits of Johor along with the setting sun as the backdrop. So, bring along your nicest board shorts, bikinis, sun tan lotion, your latest camera and join us for a full day of fun.

After Wakeboarding, it is a time to relax and chill under the starry sky. Hence, we have booked an entire bar @ Punggol Marina for this purpose.

Buffet Dinner will be provided, while drinks will be available at happy hour prices, going at $15/jug of beer.

Not happy with just dinner? Then grab a few friends to sing your night away or dance at the open air dance floor or just listen to the band as they play the night away.

Still not happy with all these? Join us later at one of the clubs in town for the finale.

Register and pass us the deposit of $50 by 12 Sep 2010 to avoid any disappointment.

P.S. As we do not know what time everyone would like to leave the place, after party transport will not be available
